Crossings & Passages
Since 2019, I’ve been exploring the bridges and arches of Central Park—unique, functional works of art built to allow people to cross over or pass under pathways in the park. But they also serve as focal points for the confluence of historical origins and contemporary life, where people converge to share their journeys, celebrate important events, and experience intimate moments. In Crossings & Passages, I attempt to trace these journeys, and my own progression from witness to inhabitant.
