Misturando
Misturando—Portuguese for “mixing”— expands my exploration of confluence through the Ambiscape into new territory. Beyond the convergences of natural and built and past in present in all my work, Misturando speaks to the blending of cultures and identities. Tracing my gradual mixing into my second home in Brazil, Chapter 1 of the project unfolds in Caratinga, a city in the mountains of Minas Gerais.
